These crackers with flax seeds and Espelette pepper from Resurrection are made in France thanks to an upcycling process, that is to say recovery of recyclable materials. Here, apple pomace is collected after making cider.
The Espelette pepper used is a French product certified PDO. It is rated 4/10 on the Scoville scale (scale measuring the strength of peppers).
These crackers are perfect for waking up the aperitif with a good mood and will go well with a cream of pepper or a sheep's cheese.
Résurrection is a French brand offering eco-responsible and tasty crackers made in France from cereals recovered after brewing beer.
Following an internship in a Parisian brewery, the founder Marie Kerouedan discovered spent grains, these malted barley residues after the brewing phase which are thrown away or given as animal feed. She then decides to reuse these residues by combining different ingredients and testing different recipes to create the crackers. After discovering the spent grains, Marie and her co-founder widened their range by using apple pomace collected after the manufacture of cider. The Résurrection brand therefore offers a complete range of anti-waste aperitif biscuits, all made from spent grains and organic ingredients in a local and circular approach.
